The Queensland Day Awards ceremony was a resounding success!  Supporters cheered the 55 hardworking local volunteers as they were presented with an engraved medallion and a certificate of recognition before being given a standing ovation by the crowd.

Host Glen Elmes MP said the room was filled with passionate and dedicated community groups from across the not for profit sector, showcasing the diversity of busy bees who work tirelessly and selflessly to make Noosa and the State of Queensland a fantastic place to live.

A highlight of the event was provided by SOUL COLLECTIVE, the music ensemble from St Teresa's Catholic College, who played and sang a wonderful selection for the entertainment of an appreciative audience.
